Eyam Excursion Picture Post #2

The beautiful little main church of Eyam, where the cross from the last post is located, along with a graveyard that has many of the plague victims.

Different view of the church.

Yet another view...I really liked this place!

Catherine Mompesson's tomb. Her husband, the rector, was one of the men who made the decision to quarantine the village. She died of the plague on August 25, 1666.

An example of one of the residential homes in Eyam. All stone, exceptionally old and quaint-looking, very pastoral.
